Celebrate Virginia Tech’s distinguished authors

13th Annual VT Authors

Celebrate Virginia Tech’s distinguished authors at the 13th Annual University Libraries’ VT Authors Recognition event on Wednesday, March 21, from 4:30 – 8 p.m. in Newman Library, fourth floor.

This year’s event will honor authors of works published in 2017 with special recognition going to several authors including the winner of the 2017 Albert Lee Sturm Award for Faculty Excellence. There will be refreshments, celebration, and conversation.

The evening will include remarks by interim provost Cyril Clarke, assistant vice provost for the humanities Sylvester Johnson, and University Libraries dean Tyler Walters. During the celebration, we will also enjoy live music by F Clef Quintet, a talented group of Virginia Tech undergraduate students.

Please RSVP by visiting bit.ly/vtauthors2018.
