Wednesday, March 18, 2009 (1406 reads) |  The University Libraries are now accepting applications from students for an evening and weekend reference library assistant (RLA) position at the Art and Architecture Library for the 2009/2010 academic year. This job involves a variety of tasks -- from helping users conduct library research to answering library policy questions to checking out books. The RLA position will require 10-15 hours a week of work, beginning in the fall semester. Night and weekend hours will be required. Starting pay is $8.70 per hour. This is a student wage position without benefits.

Duties will include assembling library shelving, loading and unloading books, moving furniture and other tasks associated with relocating the facility.
