Databases and IndexesThe Virginia Tech Libraries arranges trial access to databases being considered for purchase or subscriptions. Access is usually available through our database listings and subject guides for a specified time. Each trial database provides contact information for the librarian managing the trial; please provide any feedback concern that database to the associated librarian.

Classical Scores Library from Alexander Street Press

On trial until November 14, 2009. Includes works spanning time periods from the Renaissance to the 21st century. Coverage includes full scores, study scores, piano and vocal scores, and piano reductions. Indexed to enable search on fields such as composer, work/opus number, key, genre, instrument, time period; as well as score-specific fields, such as score type, duration, editor, arranger, publisher.
