You can now download the APA 6th Edition output style package from the EndNote site. Online documentation, links to print editions, and download links for recent updates to EndNote output styles are available on our Citation and style manuals page. Download Endnote from the Network Software site (on campus or through the Virginia Tech VPN).
This update works on both Windows and Macintosh machines and provides users with the most up-to-date formatting required by the American Psychological Associations 6th Edition Style Manual.
The download package contains these 3 files:
- Installation Instructions: EndNote APA 6th TS Edits.pdf
- APA 6th Output Style: APA 6th.ensM
- APA 6th EndNote Reference Type Matrix: APA6th_RefTypes.xml
The installation instructions outline the steps you need to take. The output style itself (APA 6th.ens) should be placed in the usual styles folder within EndNote.
Print copies of the Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association are available in the library.
