Library tours end Thursday, December 3, 2009 Wednesday, November 11, 2009 (103 reads) | The last tours of Newman Library for the fall semester will be given Thursday, December 3. Any students needing to complete a tour this semester for a class or those who are interested in learning about some of the collections and services the library provides can attend a tour any Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday at either 11:30 am or 5 pm until December 3. Tours will resume next semester starting Tuesday, January 26.

Endnote training sessions available on demand via videoconference Monday, November 02, 2009 (180 reads) |  The Research and Instructional Services department has acquired a Polycom 7000s videoconferencing system for interactive sessions with the university's remote sites (graduate centers, ARECs, extension offices, etc.).
If you are interested in an EndNote session, suitable spaces at both the local and remote sites must be reserved. Please contact Dave Beagle (540-231-9231) to make arrangements on the Library end. See the local facilities manager on your end to schedule a room.
